Cerion Nanomaterials, a leader in the design, scale-up and manufacturing of metal, metal oxide and ceramic nanomaterials will be exhibiting at the Ceramics Expo Virtual Event Week in September 2020.
The Ceramics Expo is going virtual for 2020, and will feature a week full of webinars, roundtable sessions and access to over 250 exhibitors showcasing their latest products and solutions. The conference will feature more than 50 industry experts, bringing together key leaders and fellow professionals to discuss breakthroughs in technology development and collaboration.
Cerion will join this worldwide ceramic community to discuss its capabilities in designing, scaling and manufacturing nanomaterials, all taking place in a virtual setting. Although we are disappointed that we won’t be able to meet in person, we are pleased to be able to share our capabilities, material and synthetic expertise, and new information and articles with attendees all through the virtual marketplace.
We are equally delighted to have our CEO, Landon Mertz, serve as both Moderator and as a Panelist for the following virtual conference sessions:
Actualizing Commercialization: Taking Aerospace Applications from Conception to Completion

Fast Tracking the Commercialization Process of Ceramic Materials via Enhanced Noisy Data Interpretation and Effective Material Characterization
Taking a product from the lab to mass production can be challenging for ceramic and glass manufacturers. The first hurdle to overcome is the interpretation of noisy data produced when a new material is tested and characterized. Our experts will discuss how this data can be extrapolated and interpreted in order to make commercialization more efficient.
Points to be discussed:
- How can ceramic manufacturers best utilize the sizable quantity of data available?
- How can surface area quality analysis of ceramic particles be improved?
- How can cracks and imperfections be identified and minimized?
