Cerion announced today the appointment of Mr. Alex Wasilov to the company’s board of directors.

“Alex has extraordinary technology and business expertise, and we are delighted that he is joining Cerion’s board of directors.  We appreciate his willingness to serve as a director and look forward to benefiting from his judgment and counsel,” said Richard Sands, Cerion’s Chairman.

Mr. Wasilov is currently a member of the Jefferson Hospital System Board of Trustees and Chairman of Smarter Agent, a mobile platform as a service (PaaS) company that enables widespread content distribution through native apps.

Mr. Wasilov was formerly the President and CEO of Intrawest (NYSE: SNOW), a global leader in the development and management of experiential destination resorts. He also served as President and COO of Hirtle Callaghan, an investment management firm providing outsourced Chief Investment Officer services for institutions and high net worth individuals. In addition he served as President and COO of Rosenbluth International, a privately held company providing comprehensive corporate travel management and business process services. Previously he was President of Emerging Markets for Xerox.
